thank you for the kind words

i started to tape everything off for finial coat of primer and noticed two imperfections  so now im back at the plastic stage redoing those areas. i hate this but hopefully its the last for the body of the car.

Ok well its that time again. I couldnt see my build on the second page and its been 2 months since an update.

Last time I left with finding a couple of areas that needed some work still after I had blocked everything. So up first was to set these areas correct. But first here are the wet sanding pictures.

Image
masked off for finial primer

Image

Image
wet sanding

Image
roof after 400 grit

Image
alittle shine too it

Next the annoying part. The only thing that may these pictures dont decribe is the shear amount of time this process takes. It seems to never end.

Image
the infected area

Image
after a skim coat and blocked again

Image
masked off and painted, ran out to the yello high build primer so using gray now

Image
wet sanded the area

Image
then moved everything out and power washed the room to prep for paint

Image
moved the other items outside for alittle work between painting

Image
finial straighting

Image
trying to get the latch correct

Image
painted one with the left over primer i had mixed for the quarter

Image
masking up for finial paint

Image
more masking

Image
AND PAINT! more on this later, my camera died over a couple of weeks

Image
then masked the inside up, after about 7 hrs of scrubing and cleaning

Image
shot the inside with Euro Gravel Guard, then ran out of that. then used GRAVITEX

Image
again

Image
then white on the inside

hope you guys enjoyed the update. this is still a slow go as many of you guys have personal experiences with. i landed a job in Richmond again, so its back to weekend work.
